Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this chapter I appreciated the definitions of the various tests to gauge student's understanding of English. As a future teacher I needed to understand the terms for the different tests used in a language school - what their purposes are, when to administer them, and how to understand the results and consequential placements, areas for improvement, and readiness for an external examination.I have actually previously taught a 'fairytale' lesson but it was not successful. If I had followed the straight arrow lesson structure as above I feel the end result would have been a lot better. the main problem with the activity is the problems that many student have being creative and imaginative in English. A better study portion with gap fill exercises could have helped with this problem.
