In this unit I have learnt about the so-called \"receptive skills\": i.e. reading and listening. The basic keys to effective receptive skill lessons are: choosing material and topics that are of interest to the students, building up their interest prior to the activity, introducing comprehension tasks that help their understanding and presenting difficult vocabulary and language structures before the lesson.Until this time i mostly used just the future simple and the going to future but with the help of this unit i can express my future intentions more accurately, for example make polite enquiries reffering to other people`s plans without influencing their intentions. Now with the activate phase teaching ideas i can highlight the main differences between the future simple and the going to future to the students
