Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit I have learnt what types of tests exist: - placement and diagnostic tests - they serve to determine student's current knowledge of language in order to place students into correct class, - progress tests - help teachers to check students' progress, - practice tests - help students to prepare themselves for external examination, - external tests (TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, etc). The third tense is a little bit more confusing than the others. There are many similarities in the uses of some of the tenses however the unit clarifies the slight differences between the similar tenses. I learned that with a little practise you tend to notice the differences. Even though in practise without knowing th e particular rules of the tenses, the rules do in fact make sense.
