Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit discusses strategies for presenting vocabulary and sentence structure. I learned fun ideas for how to determine appropriate vocabulary and present it using the ESA method. This lesson reinforced the importance of using a variety of techniques when introducing new material. This unit offered many good ideas such as role playing and debates that I look forward to using in the classroom. This unit was all about the future tense system, the proper usage and ways to teach it. Like all the other units on the tense systems, it was a good refresher for me on the proper tense sentence structure. I learned some common errors students can make when learning the future tense system, and ways to teach students, with some ways such as songs, predicting future changes, fortune telling, etc.
