Saudi Electric Services Polytechnic (SESP) is based in the community of Baish in Saudi Arabia’s Jizan Province. SESP began training operations in September 2012. Because SESP is expanding to other campuses within Saudi Arabia, there are additional EFL teaching opportunities coming soon. Assignments are for one-year initially with renewable contracts upon mutual agreement; however, serious consideration will be given to candidates willing to commit to a two-year assignment.

All trainees are high school graduates with class sizes averaging between 15-17 trainees.  

Salary and Benefits Package:

The overall salary and benefits package is valued at around SAR 330,000 which includes an annual salary of SAR 270,000 minimum, local transportation allowance, furnished shared accommodation with utilities and internet or an in-lieu accommodation allowance, one-off relocation allowance, annual leave provision of 21 working days, paid public holidays, private medical insurance, initial one way economy class flight to Saudi Arabia and an annual flight provision prorated monthly.

We will assess candidates according to the following criteria:

•High level of English proficiency speakers.

•A minimum of 5 years full-time post-graduation teaching experience in an ESL/ESP and Technical Bridging/Foundation Studies context

•CELTA, DELTA, TESOL,TEFL and/or TOEFL qualification required

•Bachelor’s Degree required  

•Proven experience and ability to teach ESL and ESP

•Proven teaching experience in the Middle East in general and Saudi Arabia in particular preferred •Solid ESL pedagogy with sound classroom management skills required

Receptive skills are reading and listening. There are different aims for listening and reading. We should select the topics according to our students' interests. We should get their interests by asking some questions or showing some visual materials.This unit has provided a stronger framework as far coming up with a good lesson plan is concerned. A logical and organized process for developing a good plan for the lesson is explained here in terms of various factors such as the content, the time, the objectives, the process and many others. Keeping these in mind will definitely help in preparing much better outlines for lessons in the future.
