Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I have learned that word placement and function have just as much importance in a student learning English as is learning the meaning and spelling of a word. I have also learned that there is a type of hierarchy as far as what words to teach and at what level. Starting off with commonly used terms and graduating to less commonly used words helps the student to get a better understanding of the English language. As already said for the units about present and past tenses, this one is a good recap of everything a techer should know about the formation, usage and common mistakes made by the students during the acquisition of the future tenses. I think that the ideas given in terms of possible teaching activities are the most important thing here, because they not only help finding the right way but, ideally, infinite ways.
