Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 2 focuses on the various teaching methods used by education professionals. These methods range from traditional drills and worksheets, to more interactive and situational social exercizes between students, to learning games such as hangman and I spy (of which are perhaps more suitable to children). This unit might remind grade school graduates on the activities their teachers organized in order to assist learning.I really like this lesson because it has given examples of what type of learning lessons can be used as games. For example, word searches and hangman are games that I would not have thought would be good tactics for teaching but the lesson explains how and why they would be used. I also appreciate the lesson explaining the difference between a mistake and error. Mistakes are non-intentional but errors can be corrected.
