Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Great information about the unit. It was nice to reflect on the things I already know and the things I did not know. Also, I love that the ESA structure gets explained very nicely in detail and often. I think it is important to know as a teacher when to use language structures and how it can be different for students from different cultures. We have to always think fromt their perspective. This unit brought two ESA demonstration videos. The interesting part is that the same topic was taught on both videos, but with very different results. This lesson clearly showed how a teacher attitude is important to motivate and encourage the students. Although both lessons discussed about modal auxiliary verbs, only the second one could actually make the students understand the subject.
