Tehuacan is located at the south-center of Mexico. It´s a small town that is about two hours away from many archeological and tourist sites, and three hours away from Veracruz beach. It's a conservative town and is still a place where traditions are kept and experienced. Has a good amount of swimming pool sites for the weather is good most of the year, and the average costs of living are low. There are good gym services and a few hiking places to visit, besides an ecological cactae reservoir.

If you have a true vocational interest in teaching, like working and communicating with young students and want to experience our Mexican culture and traditions first-hand you will be happy to work at John F. Kennedy Highschool.

Please send an e-mail to the address given on the job heading with your letter of intent, resume and references. We will set up an online interview to discuss further details, and will provide you with more information about the position.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covers teaching on receptive skills, and the part that refreshed my knowledge is on how to choose a proper topic to fit students' interest. Before I always chose my liking instead of students', so I realized that I didn't focus on their favorites and later on it could hinder their learning progress. In addition, patchwork ESA should be applied in lesson on receptive skills.I learned about several types of learning methods, but what interested me the most are the methods/suggestions to engage students in the lesson. For example, by asking them a simple questions of what food they like, what is their favorite sport, or what did they do this weekend? Students might think and speak in English without them noticing that this is actually a part of the class.
