Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was about teaching productive skills, speaking and writing. Also in this unit I learned about the difference between fluency and accuracy activities and the general point of those different activities. Fluency activities are more about being creative with language, while accuracy activities are more about helping students to get proper language (wether that means correct pronunciation or spelling).Future tenses are not that difficult to teach. However, it is really complicated for students as well as teachers to tell the differences between the usages of different future tenses. The best way, I think, should be strategies such as story-building, role-play, etc.. We, as teachers, can have the students understand the usage of the future tenses rather than reciting which tense should be used at what time.
