Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit taught me various methods of conducting a class. I really enjoyed comparing the differences in the straight-arrow method to that of the patch-work method. It seems like it will be good to experiment with all these methods and activities based on the individual classes. Once one has a feel for the individual students and how they best learn, one can adapt their teaching style to best achieve collective learning and development. This Unit is focused on different special types of classes. I overviewed information about teaching adult students of General English. Teaching different levels of English the teacher has to use different methodology and techniques. For example, teaching business English would involve a lot of specific business vocabulary and practice of effective formal business communication, while teaching kids would mostly involve playing fun games.
