Yokote is a small town in the northern part of Japan mainland, close to the mountains, hot springs and rice fields. It's a quiet friendly place to live. I am looking for a teacher who loves people, teaching and nature and also who has a lot of interests and an independent mind so that he can enjoy the life
here for at least one or two years.

Apply by e-mail, fax, post or phone with letter of introduction, resume, photos ("very important"), and diploma.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Most of this unit seemed to be common sense, though I found it beneficial to see advantages and disadvantages listed for the various seating arrangements. It was also interesting to see the specific application of non-verbal and verbal communication skills (eye contact, volume, diction, and gestures). I think I will be using the horseshoe arrangement for most of my lessons, given the space and classroom size I will be teaching.I learned again how important it is to get to know the students, their interests and what they like to do. While there's so much in lessons that isn't prompted by what they're personally interested in, the lessons that do revolve around those kinds of activities could be easily themed by what they like. That would make for a great discussion in just the beginning week so future lesson plans can be centered around those interests.
