There are about 180 students in total, but no more than 10 students in one class. Our students come once a week for an hour and a half. Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covered phonology and broke it down into 3 key areas: intonation, stress, and articulation. Intonation covered the rise and fall of speech and various connotations that could be implied. Stress covered which syllable or word would be stressed. Articulation covered the parts of the body that are used for particular pronunciations. The unit also delved deep into the phonetic alphabet. The absolute beginner has no English at all. The false beginner have been exposed to the English language, but not have retained much language. The adult beginner will have made their own decision to learn English and as a result be highly motivated. The young beginner often lack motivation as they haven't usually made the choice to study and cannot see the benefit of learning a new language.
