Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This particular unit delved into the management of the classroom. This unit addressed many things, establishing rapport with the students, seating arrangements, ways to deal with problematic students, the advantages and disadvantages with utilizing Teacher Talk Time, or TTT, writing on the board, student group work, eye contact, gestures, and voice projection, individualistic attention and giving instructions clearly and concisely. There are four forms of past including: past simple, past perfect, past continuous, and past perfect continuous. It is important to know the difference and that there are exceptions to the rules. For instance, past simple has some irregular words that don’t follow the rules. You are suppose to add -ed or -d but not every verb ends in those. Using these at the correct times often are an issue for students learning the language.
