Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The phonetic alphabet is HARD. I talk with non-native English speakers all the time, and it is very easy to hear that they aren't native. The biggest reason is the inflection and pronunciation. While they have a grasp of the language they won't sound native until they spend lots of time studying the lilts and intricacies of the spoken word. This lesson, while incredibly difficult, is one of the most important in my opinion. This unit mostly focuses on the course materials and books including its type which is very vital and should be well understood by the educators. The advantages and disadvantages of course books are also mentioned in detail. This course enables the English language teachers capable of choosing, selecting and preparing materials which is convenient for specific level of students to make their lesson more appealing and convincing.
