This unit was very helpful at identifying and learning about how to assist when there are red flags in the classroom. Whether it be disruptive or reluctant students there are different ways to handle the situation and it must be played by ear. The most important thing that keeps coming back through the units is the necessity of building a rapport with the students from the beginning and making all students feel welcomed and comfortable.unit 17 made me to know about some equipment and teaching aids cause it makes teaching more interesting,effective and less dependent on the textbooks.examples are;the board,the principle of board work,interactive white board,system selection and location,overhead projector,visual aids,worksheet and work cards etc,the cassette recorder,CD player,videos and DVD,video camera,dictionaries,coursebook,photocopies,computers and online sources.
