Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this lesson I learned how to distinguish the types of test that students take. There are placements, practice, diagnostic, progress, and external. All of which have a different purpose to help the student and teacher know what a student knows and learned throughout the course. I also learned the different types of external examinations that would suit different situation that test your knowledge of the English language. From this unit, I learned various theories, methods and techniques to use in teaching. It’s important for a teacher to organize a lesson in a both interesting and effective way to motivate learners. The ‘ESA’ --- Engage, Study and Activate method is pretty helpful and the unit also provides instructions of many forms of lessons, such as a‘Bommerang’ ESA lesson and a‘Patchwork’ ESA lesson.
