Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was important, as it covered the Engage Study Activate lesson, a lesson I personally needed a lot of drilling in, before I could provide it to a class. It was interesting coming across all the different games available that could be used. It reminded me this is not just a lesson I am required to produce, but to make it fun and happy for all, whilst still getting the message across.I have learned about grouping, teacher talking, consequences of teacher talk, classroom arrangement, use of classroom arrangement, establishing rapport, giving instructions, maintaining discipline. I have also learned about dealing with the problem behavior of the students. The ideas for managing the classroom during writing on the board was good. I would prefer to follow it during my class.
