Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I learned to separate Accuracy and Fluency activities. This one has personally impacted me when learning Thai here in Thailand. I was studying with a friend who was constantly correcting me which made me frustrated. It would have been better if she had let me be creative and later focus on the proper pronunciation etc. I like the 3 by 3 drill and plan to use it sometime in the future. This unit was more student based than previous units in that it helped me to understand how important my voice and my gestures are and how they would help in teaching the students or even maintaining discipline. While TTT is important it should be limited to when is necessary and STT should be encouraged as much as possible in order to have a healthy environment conducive to learning.
