Where in Italy do you want to use your TEFL qualification? Evocation has a range of vacancies in Italy, with some of the best schools and positions available. Evocation can offer adult classes, young learner and corporate work in the cities, countryside and coast.

We are looking for a large number of EFL teachers who are willing to work in Italy on long-term contracts to teach 15+ hours per week. We are working with schools in many parts of Italy, so if you can be flexible, there are more options for you. The majority of the contracts are for 10 months, and will start in September, but please indicate your availability. Some contracts may start earlier and some later, so we will do our best to cater for you.

Some of the schools may offer residential positions but most will be non-residential, so you should factor in the need to arrange accommodation and flights.

Going through Evocation gives you the luxury of having a personal consultant working to find the perfect match you are looking for with offers of excellent salaries and great working conditions. And when your contract is coming to an end, you will get the choice of other available work from one of our consultants. Or if you want to stay in Italy, we will organise that for you as well.

As we have ongoing EFL work all round the world, you and your adviser you can pick and choose new positions in any country where we are working, so you will never be out of work! Some of our teachers have been with Evocation for many years as they like having a choice of Evocation’s work opportunities and support, knowing they have the safety of friends looking after them when they go abroad.

No more job hunting for your next positions or worrying about moving abroad, your new school or boss. We have that covered! Let Evocation look after you!

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This was a challenging unit as I was not familiar with the concept of phonetics. The study of these phonetics and the link to our everyday use of English language has taught me how the English language works. I feel that this will aid me in teaching students and will also aid in the student's learning of the language. It can also be an entertaining way of getting students to learn the language. In this unit I have learned when to apply accuracy activities and when to apply fluency. I also have learned the speaking activities and when to use a specific activity. In this unit I discovered the the difference between receptive skills and productive skills. I have come to the conclusion that how have to keep the students interested in a topic so that they understand it and know what to do.
