Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Understanding students knowledge prior to placing a student in the classroom is important so that they are in the classroom that will best suit them. Once a teacher establishes placement they can continue to evaluate students knowledge and understanding by giving them test throughout the course. Test can be given weekly, monthly or quarterly. Teachers can also conduct weekly check in by giving surveys to their students. This module has allowed me to also learn the minor differences between present perfect and present perfect continuous. I was most fascinated by the differences because in spoken English people do not pay attention to those minor differences or even realise that there is a difference. It is also interesting to know that things that have not happened yet are part of the future as a minute from now is already in the future.
