Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I found this unit helpful in reviewing basic grammar forms relating to the future tenses. The understanding of the forms and usages of these seven different tenses is important information to grasp and understand thoroughly if you wish to teach others how to speak English. As with other units I found a lot of value in the different ideas for teaching for teaching each individual tense form. This unit has highlighted for me the importance of planning for a lesson and how one can effectively do that. A lesson plan is a very important document if used correctly and well, but it can also work to the disadvantage of the students if it is too rigid. All in all, I would say it is important for a teacher to plan for their lesson and make sure to keep the students in mind at all times.
