Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 17 explains the different technological tools a teacher can use in the classroom to help the students in their learning. There are many ways to do so from the usage of a blackboard to the Computer-Aided Language Learning tools. What is important in general is to check the good functioning of the material beforehand and to prepare the lesson in advance trying to predict possible problems and solve them before they happen.Regardless of the language level and how the study phase is planned, when introducing new grammar, vocabulary or functions, teachers must be aware that students need to be exposed to the new language, understand its meaning and how it is constructed as well as be capable of practicing and producing it. This units focuses precisely on how to use the ESA method to teach vocabulary, grammatical structures and language functions.
