EF English First is a world renowned language institution and we now have ten schools in our group and the newest school no 10 in Bogor started in March 2012. Our team will help you reach your full potential as a TEFL teacher; each school has a standardized induction program, regular training and observations, an extensive TEFL resource library as well as ,of course, constant support from the Senior Teaching Manager and teaching team. All of the schools are equipped with the latest in teaching aids, materials and educational multi-media technology.

You could have the opportunity of working either in the faster pace of city life or in the quieter green suburban environment. The schools are located in North, South and West part Jakarta city, the outskirts of Jakarta and the neighboring city of Bogor. If you like city life we have EF Pluit, Tebet, Tanjung Duren, Puri and Cengkareng.

If you prefer suburb or outskirt of Jakarta, we have EF Bogor, BSD Tangerang, EF Gading Serpong and the newest one EF Tangerang City. Each area is unique and has varying features that our teachers enjoy living and working in. Between the ten schools there is an attraction for every professional teacher.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit is about evaluation and testing. I've been aware of how to evaluate students levels and progress. I have learnt about different types of tests can be used in different situations - placement test at the beginning of the year, progress test throughout the year and practice test before taking external exams. I have gotten more information about general external examinations.students create have you ever questions for a classroom survey. highlight and drill the controlled form of the structure. elicit the present perfect tense structure and write it on the board. complete a gap fill activity related to the present perfect tense. A general class chat about countries and cities they have visited. students carry out the survey and give feedback to the class.
