Director of Recruitment

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This Unit gives an overview of Past Tenses in the Engish language. We refresh our understanding of how these tenses are formed, their usage, and example sentences to bear in mind. We have also come up with some ideas utile for lesson planning. I particularly enjoyed the task where we had to explain the difference between some seemingly identical or very close to each other past tenses.Reading and listening skills are important when teaching. In this unit I have learnt that both receptive skills are needed in order to deliver an effective lesson and in the long rang achieve the goals and objectives that a teacher have for his/her students. I believe that receptive skills are equally important because it helps in the speaking and writing of a student at a later stage.
