Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit discussed the different types of teaching groups we may encounter when teaching English as a second language. My biggest take away from this unit is to be aware of students' needs, to have clear and realistic goals, and to be adaptable in any situation. This unit also provided useful activities for one to one lessons, as well as activities to prepare when teaching Business English classes.I am a great believer in using authentic materials as a resource for teaching and learning. Authentic materials often have some great ideas that can be easily implemented in class. Self-made material, however, provide much more flexibility regarding adaptability to suit the needs and levels of the students. If possible, there should be a healthy mix of authentic materials and self-made materials.
