inLingua Dessau-Roßlau are currently looking for an English ESL Teacher. We are a language school located in Dessau, Germany, a city rich in history and culture and surrounded by gardens and nature, ideal for bike riding, hiking, canoeing and exploring. We are 120kms south of Berlin We are looking for a dynamic, friendly, flexible and team orientated person.

Our students range from business people to individuals keen on learning a new language. We have a supportive work environment which includes internal training, paid teacher meetings and a wealth of resources. Additionally, our teachers are given an iPad as a teaching resource with all inlingua teaching material pre-downloaded. A driver’s license is essential. We offer a freelance contract with the goal of offering about 30 teaching hours per week. We also support all new teachers with finding accommodation, visa and settling in.

This unit was very interesting and useful. I learnt a lot about classroom organization, how to use your body language during a class, how to distribute correctly Teachers talking time and students talking time. I also find suggestions how to manage with problem behaviour very interesting. In addition I learnt about advantages and disadvantages of different kinds of grouping students.In this lesson I learned about the different types of tests that we can give our students. This was a very interesting unit. I was not aware of the different types of tests we can give in order to test our students progress and language level. I will use tests as a tool to better gauge my students knowledge and ability through this in order to improve and make changed in my class.
