Kids&Us is a language school for young learners from 1 to 16 years old. We have our own methodology and pedagogical material and are currently looking for native level EFL teachers available to give lessons between 3 and 10 hours a week. Most of our lessons are during the afternoon starting at 15h30 or on Saturday morning. Lessons are starting on September 10th.

Further to a 1st interview and if this goes well, a training of around 4 hours is required for all teachers. Teachers have a CDD (contrat de durée determiné) contracts for 9 months, from September to July. The teachers are paid 15€ netto per hour.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit I learned some basics about course materials. I learned some ideas about how to use a textbook properly including considering the specifics of the group I am teaching, the price of the book, the trajectory of the lessons, the teachers guide and the supplementary materials that come with it. I also learned that authentic materials seem to ground the learning in practical daily life.This unit was similar to the previous, but discussing the productive skills; writing and speaking. It discusses accuracy and fluency, techniques to encourage interaction, creative writing, and the use of games in the classroom. The third section gives examples of games which are useful for teaching english foreign language and how they can correctly be implemented to greatly benefit the students.
