Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit I learned some basics about course materials. I learned some ideas about how to use a textbook properly including considering the specifics of the group I am teaching, the price of the book, the trajectory of the lessons, the teachers guide and the supplementary materials that come with it. I also learned that authentic materials seem to ground the learning in practical daily life. This unit was similar to the previous, but discussing the productive skills; writing and speaking. It discusses accuracy and fluency, techniques to encourage interaction, creative writing, and the use of games in the classroom. The third section gives examples of games which are useful for teaching english foreign language and how they can correctly be implemented to greatly benefit the students.
