R&V Educational Centre is a small, friendly school, which, since its foundation in 1995, has gained an excellent reputation, and is looking for a suitably qualified EFL teacher who is available to start in January 2014. Candidates to join our team will have TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent, be native level speakers of English and hold an EU passport. Our teachers are contracted for 26 contact hours a week, and are expected to teach adults and teenagers at all levels in both General and Business English. In return we offer good terms and conditions for an eight/nine month period, depending on the starting date.

If, after reading about the school, you are interested in working in Riga, please send a full CV to the email address given on the job heading, with names and addresses of two referees who may be contacted.

Thank you again for expressing an interest in R&V Educational Centre

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This part of the unit covered different parts of speech. I found it to be very useful. The video explaining different parts of speech will be very useful when i am teaching because many of my students are already learning about comparative and superlative adjectives. I had never heard of transitive and intransitive verbs or the term gerund before now. This was a very interesting and useful unit. This unit a wonderful range of songs, activities, games and resources for teaching Young Learners. It was very useful to have suggested examples and lesson plans on how to modify and adapt materials for different subject matter to be taught and to consider age appropriateness. The internet based resources/links were of great interest and provided many creative ideas for future lesson planning.
