We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic and organized teachers to work on our English language courses in England, Ireland and France.

For over 30 years Anglophiles Academic has been one of the leading UK providers of quality educational courses and travel experiences for young people from overseas.

We now have vacancies for TEFL qualified EFL tutors to work on our English language courses in February, April, June, July & August 2010.

Teachers will typically teach between 12 - 25 hours per week and be involved in other cultural, sports and social activities.

Positions are available in our homestay centres in Hunstanton, King’s Lynn, Milton Keynes, Mallow (Ireland), Northampton, Nottingham, Peterborough, Plymouth, Spalding, Wisbech and York. We also require tutors for our UK residential centres in Skegness, Leicester and London, as well as for Berry, Banyuls and Mens in France.

You can choose the centre(s) and dates that suit you – you can work on as many courses as you wish – it’s up to you.

For more details email us at the address given on the job heading.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

every student, who wish to become a teacher, must understand the role of a teacher in learning foreign lenguage. a clear understanding of how to comunicate with a students during teaching process gives better results. teaching is a cooperation between teacher and students, so students and teacher should follow the rules. students should aware of the meaning of \"good learners\" to be succesfull in teaching. This unit focuses primarily on testing both in and outside the classroom. The unit highlights what kinds of tests should be given throughout the course to evaluate a student's progress. Additionally, the unit provides a brief list and description of the most common external exams. I think knowing about the external exams is important because it can help the teacher understand the motivations of the student.
