Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The videos of this lesson really help bring the concepts learned in previous units to practice. It demonstrates that the use of the concepts in past units will help provide a better learning environment and produce better results with the students. Clearly in the first video there are issues with how the teacher is teaching. Knowing how to identify some of these mistakes will help me to not make the same mistakes myself.This unit gave tips on dealing with the most common difficulties and problems teachers might run into in while teaching a class. Some topics covered were dealing with reluctant students, what to do when students have a problem during a listening activity, and using warmers and generally working to establish rapport with students. The latter is particularly important because it can set the tone for the rest of the course.
