Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit has covered various usages of the future tense. The future tense is constructed in a similar way to the other tenses, with perfect and continuous forms. The future tense is used in many different situations, including prediction, plans, and promises. Learning the tenses is an integral part of any TEFL curriculum, as students will benefit from a teacher who knows the parts of speech and language structure. The content in Unit 1 contained a list of qualities of what makes good teachers and good students. This unit also contained the overall basic stages of class that everyone will participate in. I feel as though I have learned the general framework of how the English lessons are taught, as well as keeping a careful mindset to monitor English students in order to successfully keep them motivated to learn the language.
