Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit I learned about the past tenses. I looked specifically at the affirmative, negative and questioning forms of past simple, past continuous and past perfect. Past simple is used for actions that were completed at a definite time in the past, past continuous is used for actions that were interrupted or that are descriptive and past perfect is for actions that occurred prior to other actions. This unit has taught me an excellent method for planning my classes. The moment that I started to base my lessons from this plan, teaching has gotten easier for me. I now know that keeping a record of what I teach in class will help me become more organized, and keep my classes up to date. Also putting time limits for each activity keeps the class running smoothly and helps me spend class time wisely.
