Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I learned many methods in which to be able to teach students. You would first need to engage students in the language you are teaching like teaching basics of the language and simple words. Then have them use the language in an activity like talking in a circle. Having them study to help them learn more vocabulary and pronunciations. Then repeat all until the students become very comfortable with the language they are speaking.Unit twelve discussed the productive skills of speaking and writing. Within the speaking section, the unit discussed the difference between accuracy based and fluency based activities and the importance of both. I think that the way these units are set up is very helpful for my understanding. Each unit gives both academic information that is useful to me as well as lesson management knowledge, which is also very useful to me.
