Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I have learnt how to structure an Engage, Study, Activate lesson based on different kinds of phone calls. I also learnt how to analyze and choose an appropriate course book for the different level of students. Even though I learn how to choose an appropriate course book, I learnt that I am not supposed to focus the lesson on the course book itself, I have to come up with various activities to suit my students needs. This unit provides an overview of what amounts to half of a person's language skills- namely: a person's receptive skills, or the ability to read and listen effectively. A variety of methods are suggested for developing the ability to listen and read with comprehension while maintaining the interest and curiosity of the students throughout the lesson. As always, methods for testing comprehension are also introduced.
