Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit, I make it more clear about the modals, including may, can, could, might, should, ought to, must, and so on, they all can be used to express different ideas. Except modals verbs, I also was be taught about phrasal verbs and passive verbs, which I though is the most difficult part is phrasal verbs, is more complicated for both teachers and students, and we need to take more time to practice so that we can remember in heart. This lesson was very similar to the lesson on the present tense and to the one on the past tense. It helped me get more familiar with the different modalities of the future tense and introduced them one by one. In addition, it helped me differentiate those modalities from one another and helped me understand when to use them. Finally, it also gave me an insight on when and how to use each modality when creating a lesson for my students.
