We specifically need native North American teachers for our kindergarten and elementary level students. We also need teachers for our growing adult classes. We require:
* Some college/university with ESL/EFL certification as a minimum (and some classroom experience) or
* A four-year degree (preferably with ESL/EFL certification)
* You must be at least 21
* You must be willing to commit to teach for at least one year

I learned many things from this unit. In my opinion, the teaching roles were the most important. I believe that in order to be a great teacher you have to know how to play each role. When I look back at my favorite and most effective teachers, they had mastered many of these different roles. By learning how to play each role accordingly, I will be able to practice, and one day hopefully master, these roles with my future students.Lesson planning seems sometimes like a dull and unnecessary task, in reality lesson planning can make the difference between a good lesson and a terrible one. First and foremost it's a good reminder of what topics I have covered and what materials I have used in class. Also it provides a documents that can help in assessing myself as a teacher, assessing the students and helping teachers that will substitute forme in case I'm ill.
