Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I do not ever recall learning about relative clauses, so this was all new information for me, and because it’s new, it seemed difficult to understand. I always find it interesting that understanding the structure to one’s first language tends to be more difficult than their understanding of the language. This will take more work on my end to be able to teach this information clearly. The unit covered the methods for teaching new language to the student. Vocabulary, grammar and functions are all covered with great examples given for the ESA method of teaching language. This really ties in well with all of the previous units since the first unit on teaching methods (unit 3). There has been a consistent amount of teaching using this ESA method with relevant examples provided.
