Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

There are some different types of classes. I am a teacher for younger learners and most of them are beginners. I don't think younger learners can't learn English well and I don't think it's teaching younger learners are easier in a country that English is not our first language. I know a lot of methods in this unit about other types of teaching groups and I'd like to study them and be a better teacher. The content of the unit was the parts of a sentence. I learned the parts of transitive and intransitive verbs, countable and uncountable nouns. English is a very complex language and has a lot of rules that must be followed in order for the learners to sound and look as native speakers. Most of the rules are taught as one learns to speak English, however, for ESL learners grammar is taught first thing.
