Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This section again drives home the ESA structures, demonstrating the different (and all appropriate) methods of straight arrow, patchwork, and boomerang. It shows how creating lesson plans can help with organization and content, as well as keep a lesson flexible. Keeping the lesson open to student needs and shifts is important to student success, as not only is every student different, but every classroom dynamic is different as well.I come from project management background. I was trained that the life of any project is divided into different phases. Due to time constraint it is possible to skip one or two stages of a project, but a good manager never skips the planning process. A plan is something one may always go back to in order to see where he or she is at a given moment. Experienced teachers have repeated it to me numerous times as well: always have a plan.
