Vinston International English boasts 7 English training schools in Changsha, Hunan, China and has occasional opportunities for TEFL qualified teachers. With 26 foreign teachers from all over the English-speaking world, we pride ourselves in creating a professional and fun environment for both teachers and students alike.

WE OFFER:

Salaries of between RMB 11,000 – RMB 15,000 per month (depending on experience and hours), flight reimbursements, airport pick-ups, medical insurance, paid vacation, signing bonuses, great working environments and constant support during the visa application process.

WE REQUIRE:

Teachers with a sense of adventure from native English-speaking countries (USA, UK, RSA, CA, AU, NZ) that have a degree from a national university, and a minimum of 120 hours TEFL or TESOL.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach scheduled class hours as outlined in the contract. Class hours include scheduled lessons, out-of-school teaching, one-to-one tutoring, demos and/or English Corner.

This unit's aim was to educate regarding the different parts of speech, an explanation of & how to use them correctly. I found it very beneficial - reminding me of countable & uncountable nouns, transitive & intransitive verbs, conjunctions, plus definite & indefinite articles, adverbs etc. Also it was interesting to see the order in which the adjectives were put when describing a sign.This unit was very helpful in identifying the different groups of students that want to learn English. These groups vary vastly in terms of age, level, proficiency and motivations to study and hence each group must be approached differently as per the needs and requirement for each group. As a teacher one has to be talented and driven in learning to adapt to teach each individual group.
