Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I found this unit to be interesting and useful at the same time. Aides and resources available to teachers are all aspects that teachers should be aware of and take into consideration while preparing a successful lesson. Different sites to be used were also helpful when thinking about future lessons and lesson planning. This unit will be appreciated in the future once I am in a classroom.Unit 20 looked at how teachers should go about their first lessons with their new class. The unit then went on to discuss the various techniques a teacher may employ to help with that first lesson, reluctant students, big classroom sizes and behavioral problems. I learned some interesting techniques to help motivate reluctant students such as the use of group work and controlled practice.
