What is a Smart School?
¡¥Smart School¡¥ is the internal name for our new, self-owned and managed EF schools in China. The schools target young adults and professionals, who subscribe to a year-long course with us. The course consists of a combination of our self-study, online Englishtown course (Contact us), together with face-to-face teachers who conduct both small, personalized classes, and larger workshops.
All the material presented in the classes is synchronized with the online coursework, so that a student is able to work through the prescribed content in preparation for the face-to-face classes and workshops. The material is presented to the students as PowerPoint Presentations which are created by our Content team. Consequently, there is less preparation required from the teacher than would normally be demanded in a traditional TEFL classroom.
To supplement these formal studies, Smart schools also offer our students a range of extramural activities, where students and teachers are able to meet in a more informal setting.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking to recruit native-English teachers who want to work in China, teaching English to young professionals in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and who want to discover the country that will dominate the next century!
Teachers should be Native-English Speakers, and must have:
^ E Undergraduate degree or diploma
^ E Teaching experience
^ E Recognized TEFL certificate or extensive relevant TEFL experience
