Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 8 went over the importance of writing and speaking to assist in learning English. Aaccuracy and fluency activities can help create an environment which can enable learning and understanding of the language. Encouraging students to speak and write is a very important theme of this lesson. The great thing about writing and reading is that it creates interactions that can motivate students to learn more. The first video was painful to watch because those poor students were so lost, confused and intimidated. The second was a joy to watch because there was a wonderful rapport between students and teachers, they were invested in their learning and smiled as they learned, just as the teacher smiled as his students learned. These videos are a powerful testament to the affect on student learning of teacher attitude.
