Job Teaching TEFL in Chile

We are looking for TEFL, or equivalent, qualified English instructors who are willing to commit to a minimum of either five or ten months working in Conception, Chile. If you are able to start in March 2009 and have a genuine interest in teaching both children and adults, together with an excellent knowledge of the English language we would like to hear from you. Previous teaching experience is required and you should be professional, responsible, reliable, creative, flexible and dynamic. 
 
We offer:
• Full-time work ranging between 20-30 hours/week

• Friendly work environment
• Income between US $ 410 and US $ 737 a month gross.

Unit 8 went over the importance of writing and speaking to assist in learning English. Aaccuracy and fluency activities can help create an environment which can enable learning and understanding of the language. Encouraging students to speak and write is a very important theme of this lesson. The great thing about writing and reading is that it creates interactions that can motivate students to learn more.The first video was painful to watch because those poor students were so lost, confused and intimidated. The second was a joy to watch because there was a wonderful rapport between students and teachers, they were invested in their learning and smiled as they learned, just as the teacher smiled as his students learned. These videos are a powerful testament to the affect on student learning of teacher attitude.
