Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

It was a nice refresher to receive information on lesson planning and the ESA structure. I also enjoyed information in regards to classroom management, and proper way to introduce course work and activities. Knowing ways to help the children to learn best is always great to have. The breakdown on course book usage was a good read as well. It helps to have information on how to get the most and best use out of them. This unit deals with the four basic skills of language: reading, listening, speaking, and writing. Reading and listening are described as receptive skills. Productive skills were the speaking and writing portions. To maintain interest it's important that the teacher offer a variety of topics over time. It is good practice to pre-teach complex vocabulary and structures so time is not wasted in the activity phase.
