Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The chapter focuses on the multiple methodologies of teaching English. It also provides a deep analysis of the Engage, Study and Activate (ESA) method by Jeremy Harmer, which emphasises the importance of the balance between motivating students to learn English, that is, to engage them with English learning games, the reinforcement of that correct learning, and application of the learning in the real world. The way we speak has a direct effect on how we are received and understood. Stresses and the phonetic alphabet are things I have not seen since High School. Chinese is a language dedicated to tonal understanding. different tones of the same words carry different meanings, but we use the idea of listening to tones for emotion or what a person really means. Interesting things that have come up in this lesson
