Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.
This unit covered one of the most important aspects of teaching: difficulties with the classroom and difficult students in general. Having an entire unit dedicated to this was particularly useful for me because I do not have a lot of teaching experience without having a teacher assisting me heavily. With this chapter, I feel much more prepared for future classes regardless of what I'm teaching.Most of the information given in this unit about what makes a good teacher or a good learner seemed to me like common knowledge although the clear definitions were new to me. New to me were also the different levels of english skills and their definitions. I think that in real life some of the levels between beginner and advanced cant be defined that clearly since some might overlap each other.
