Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In unit 10, I can now see how to use the ESA Methodology correctly. The first video showed what not to do in class. For example, when the students are working on a worksheets, the teacher was reading a book and not really paying attention to the students. The second video showed me what do in classroom setting. For example, the teacher engages the students about animals and but them in small groups. While the conditionals part of this unit was fairly straightforward, I found myself more interested in the reported speech section. As an English speaker, while I can't say if we always use the correct transition forms when reporting speech, we do sort of just know how to say what someone said in the past. It doesn't worry me but I am sure I will have to just say \"you just have to remember\" a lot.
