Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This section was very helpful in illustrating why planning lessons is so important. I think that having this document will be very helpful as a beginning teacher because it creates a guide for us to follow. While one does not have to follow the guide exactly, it is an aid that provides structure for the lessons and helps ensure that the lesson is on track. This makes me less nervous to be in the classroom! This unit has been very educational. Testing and evaluations are important to gauge what the student is learning and what more can be done to help them learn English and be prepared for what is to come. I did not know there were so many different types of external exams students could prepare for; it is nice to have a working knowledge of tests for which the students could take to show their proficiency.
