Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

It is interesting to read different teaching methods listed, and useful to see some points for each. I have been taught with some of these methods. Suggested ideas for each stage of the ESA methodology are good to get familiar with as a teacher in order to be flexible in a class, since not all classes are going to be the same. The Giving Feedback section was found to be the most informative one to remember. This unit shows the purpose and gives examples of the different parts of speech that are used in sentences. It shows how each one is used in a sentence and where they should be used. It gives the rules for all of the parts of speech, but also shows how the irregular forms can be confusing for learners. It also lists common mistakes that are made like confusing possessive pronouns with possessive adjectives.
